The shade is well crafted, yet light weight. It's important to me that it's fast and easy to set up. This is much more simple than my friends who use a shade tent. I'm amazed at the difference in temperature under my shade and some of the knock off brands that my friends use. This shade really creates a cooler environment with the open air movement that it allows. I can't prove that the temperature is lower, but I can say that the children seem to gravitate to our shade over other set-ups. I would imagine there is a direct relationship in how much heat is permeating the shade and how well ultra violet rays are penetrating. This was our best purchase last summer. I have and will continue to recommend the EzShade to my friends and family. One of those "why didn't I think of this?" ideas. It's compact, lightweight, and easy-to-use portable shade. It seems like the perfect solution for when it seems impossible to position the umbrella for shade-- we just attached the EZ shade and saved ourselves from the direct rays of the sun. The length is adjustable and easy to weigh down with sand so it works as a shield against the wind, too. I'm considering buying multiples so that we can use it as a changing cabana--one you can actually stand in. Great price, too! Once we set it up initially, it was very easy to use again each time. It was great at the beach, and even better at the soccer tournament where we had to sit in the 3:00 summer sun for a 2 hour game. The Shade is very light & transportable, simple & well designed. I'm sure we'll be bringing it with us to all our outdoor events!
