We have removed the middle and rear seats, and built a bed into the back. With the Car Tarp, we can use the side door and leave the side window open in the rain, and no water gets inside. We have even found it possible to disconnect the tarp from the car and leave it standing in order to drive the car away, and then come back and park again and reattach the tarp. Be sure to mark the position of the tires first, so you can return to the same spot.You definitely need to set it up once to get it all figured out, but once you've got the hang of it it goes up pretty easily. I strongly suggest leaving the guy lines attached to the tarp when putting it away. The only real downside we've noticed is a tendency for rainwater to pool in the top half of the tarp, so you need to make sure to push it off to the side away from the car.
