Overall it is an okay product.It is easy to open, unless there is too much wind. I bought this for the beach because I am tired of trying to open an umbrella that wont stay because of the wind.I did try it out at my house on a windy day. It worked fine there, but at the beach were there are no obstacles to slow the wind down it was a disaster. You have to have two people open it when there is a good wind. The poles will collapse on themselves too if there is too much wind. There needs to be wind slots in the back panel. No matter which way I turned it it wanted to blow away. The spikes did not hold it. The mesh sides need to have some solid material on the bottom because sand will come in from there. I do plan on using this product at the park or in my yard for my kids. It was very light weight for airline travel. Super easy to put up and take down. First, there is a video on the tent available on YouTube (link in the product description). The video convinced me to buy the tent, which is well worth the price. Second, the opening and closing instructions are sewn into the carrying bag, so they won't be lost. Even my wife, the bane of all things mechanical or electrical, was able to set up and take down this thing. Great job Genji! |
