Tested it out by leaving it set up in a rain storm all night long. It did very well, only complaint is that there is no coverage between the brown floor you see in the photo, and the door of the tent. One extra flap of fabric would have helped a lot, though this is easily solved by throwing down a small tarp.  Good addition, By This review is from: MSR Gear Shed (Misc.) I bought MSR Gear Shed for my MSR Hubba solo tent. I needed a shelter for my large rucksack and for my wet gear during long hikes (5 days or more). I was pleased of what I bought.The lack of apsis has been a problem with the Hubba series. But now you get a good vestibule to store away the stuff you cannot or will not put in the sleeping compartment - which is very good, since with the single-man Hubba there really is only very little extra room. No more cramming dry clothes under your sleeping mat! Also, during rain and storm you get more room to maneuver inside and organize your valuables without getting wet. There is just enough room for an average-sized person to move around or sit down with your hands full. I was worried if the product works well with a solo tent. But there was no problem whatsoever.
