This is your typical Emergency Tent/Shelter. Made from plastic sheeting, it includes a long length of cord for setting it up between 2 posts or trees. A neessity for your emergency kit or 'Go-Bag'. I'd also recommend it for day-hikers in case of an emergency. Not to be used for camping! At $9 I would expect something a little better (although not much) but it's not a bad thing to have on hand for a few nights in a pinch if you need it. Just don't expect to have it standing for too long.Portability/small packing space is it's main benefit for easy packing in your BOB, but if you want something a little bit better and don't need the portability, look for a cheap camping tent in the $20 range instead.
