This is important because 4, 6, and 8 inch loops provide different size solutions. I love regular bungees, but these are incredibly useful in a million ways. I gave them a 4 because they get dirty really easily and you cant easily clean them. This is not a big deal seeing how they are white, but it is still and annoyance. The white cords give your tent a "finished" look and don't contrast harshly like the red, black or blue bungees that are available at local hardware stores. Any tent owner who uses their tent more than occasionally knows that it's important to have extra bungees available to replace worn cords or those that somehow escape during the break down process.
